Terroir: Montagne d'Alaric 

Soil: clay - limestone

Planting: 100% Merlot 

Average yield: 55 hl /ha

Vinification: traditional with eraflage and temperature control at 24/25°C. Vatting time of 20 days on average. The grape varieties are aged separately in vats and blended in January to refine the complexity. The wine is bottled in the spring.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Deep garnet

Nose: aromas of plums and red fruits

Palate: fruit and liquorice blend, well balanced with quality tannins

Grape variety: 100% red Grenache 

Average yield: 65 hl /ha

Vinification: night harvest, direct pressing and selection of the first clear juices and settling in vats at a temperature of 15/16°C for 15 days. Aging with stirring on fine lees in order to stabilise the aromas as much as possible and bring balance and complexity for two months

Degree: 12.5 %vol

TASTING NOTES

Colour: pale pink

Nose: fine with floral notes

Palate: nice freshness and length in the mouth. Very nice balance; a mix of red and white fruits.

WINE SERVICE

Pairings: light and fresh for the aperitif.

Keeps very well and can be drunk all year round 

Wine temperature: 10-12°C
