Terroir: Montagne d'Alaric 

Soil: clay - limestone

Planting: 100% Merlot 

Average yield: 55 hl /ha

Vinification: traditional with eraflage and temperature control at 24/25°C. Vatting time of 20 days on average. The grape varieties are aged separately in vats and blended in January to refine the complexity. The wine is bottled in the spring.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Deep garnet

Nose: aromas of plums and red fruits

Palate: fruit and liquorice blend, well balanced with quality tannins

Pairings: Ideal accompaniment to a meal as it can be served with most dishes: meats, cold meats, cheeses...

Can be kept for several years.
